Dr. Candy Wentz joined Crocker Animal Hospital in 2006. She grew up on a small farm in Alabama where caring for animals became her passion. She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Animal and Dairy Science. Auburn was also where she received her veterinary degree. After veterinary school, she worked for about five years in a mixed animal practice in Alabama before getting married and relocating to Franklin, Kentucky with her husband and fellow veterinarian, Dr. Phil Wentz. Her professional interests include small animal medicine, ultrasound and client education. She enjoys sharing her home not only with her husband, but with their two dogs (Harley and Lukas) and two cats (Pockets and Funyun).
